Confined Space Entry

Industrial and marine settings can have a verity of spaces in many sizes both small and large that can be considered a confined space, all with varying degrees of complexity for safe access and egress. Enviro-Vac workers are specifically trained in confined space entry bringing many years of practical experience and specialized training to master specific disciplines required in hazardous materials abatement and decontamination that includes confined space training aligned with effective directional air-flow optimization and pressure differential applications including PPE effectiveness and utilization.

Confined spaces can vary greatly from conventional working conditions and are often a tight fit for decontamination workers due to bulky PPE workers use. The risk-assessment and permit system required can present a unique challenge as it requires competent safety professionals well versed in both confined space entry as well as hazardous materials abatement.

The process of hazardous materials abatement within a confined space can also be greatly exacerbated with an increase in dust stemming from the removal process and visibility can at times be reduced to a meter or less which increases the potential for accidents or injuries, add in close quarters abrasive blasting, welding, gouging and more and the danger increases even further.

Dust Control & Extraction of Spent Abrasives & Debris

Enviro-Vac industrial, diesel powered vacuum loaders and automated bagging systems are designed for use in heavy duty vacuuming, contamination control, and combustible dust vacuuming. The vacuum loaders are often used as a multi-purpose solution providing increased visibility for workers, aiding in dust control and providing ventilation for fume control and extraction of spent abrasives and debris (coatings) removed from surfaces.

No Substitute for Experience

We take great pride in the retention and longevity of our employees knowing it is key to being able to provide a safe hazardous materials abatement and decontamination service. Our workers are cross trained and certified in many disciplines undergoing rigorous and regular upgrades in numerous interconnected abatement categories.  Our equipment is up-to-date and regularly safety tested.
