The Enviro-Vac™ Team is consistently exposed to the best training available, through industry schooling, HMA Certification and in-house process testing. Many hours are spent in the field devising improved procedures and more efficient application methods.

Jim Klassen CEO, Steve Parks President and Mike Baker General Manager are directors and contract administrators responsible for preparation of safe work plans, proposals, provide project documentation, maintain records and are responsible for project invoicing.


Greg Petersen and Ray Zondag are shareholders and project managers. They develop work plans and schedules and co-ordinate all site activities. All have extensive experience in hazardous materials abatement, field management and design.


Chris Mitsche and Emma Gibson have an extensive background in environmental consulting and are Construction Safety Officers (CSO). Responsibilities of the Construction Safety Officer (CSO) program are to provide verification of a nationally recognized level of competency in relation to construction safety. The CSO program provides practical training in various construction safety management skills and principles including:

• Principles of Safety Management
• Leadership for Safety Excellence
• Safety Auditor Training (plus completion of an internal audit)
• Train the Trainer in either:
• WHMIS
• Lock-Out / Tag-Out
• Hearing Conservation Program
• Prime Contractor
• Safety Administration
• Claims Management
• First Aider I / CPR
• Confined Space

COR – Emma Gibson B.Sc, Chris Mitsche & Kelly Gourley are COR Certified. Kelly Gourley is one of Enviro-Vacs'™ most senior project managers and specializes in industrial projects.  Kelly Gourley is responsible for managing a wide variety of industrial, environmental de-construction and abatement projects. Kelly is responsible for maintaining client relations and ensuring that projects are completed on a timely basis and within budget.

EPA Certification Section 402 Toxic Substance Control Act. May 2010 - Chris Mitsche achieves Lead Abatement Supervision and Project Monitoring certification through University of California Berkeley.
